About HI-FAB

HI-FAB Engineers Pvt. Ltd., was established in 1982 by a team of young technocrats having many years of experience in designing, manufacturing and troubleshooting of Mechanical Seals. HI-FAB has earned a reputation for offering some of the most progressive, innovative and proven fluid sealing solutions to the processing industry.

HI-FAB has modern manufacturing facilities which employ specialized production procedures and techniques. The works at Daman, 180 kms. from Mumbai, INDIA is equipped with advanced CNC machines and high precision quality control and measuring instruments. HI-FAB seals are designed as per the latest international standards like EN12756 and API 682 and comply with international norms and regulations on Emission Control. Greater emphasis is placed on customer focus, long-term reliability, sturdiness, ease of maintenance, comprehensive design validation and test procedures.

With sales and service centers in major cities of India and distributors worldwide, HI-FAB seals have been able to mark their presence in various market segments of the Sealing Industry.

1982

Establishment of HI-FAB Engineers Pvt. Ltd.

1987

HI-FAB workshop gets successfully evaluated by Technical Development Committee for refineries and petrochemicals

1988

HI-FAB supplies the first coaxial seal.

1990

HI-FAB supplies the first API double tandem seal on Sulzer API pump for Butadiene service. The seal performed for 25 years without courtesy maintenance.

1990

HI-FAB daman workshop appraisal by M/s Davy Powergas India limited and gets approved.

1991

HI-FAB gets best quality vendor award from M/s Kirloskar brothers limited

1991

HI-FAB participated in ACHEMA at Frankfurt, Germany.

2000

First 4 axis CNC machine imported from Germany and commissioned.

2000

HI-FAB executed a prestigious project order of API seals for M/s IOCL, Kappalur, Madurai.

2001

Shifted to a larger manufacturing facility

2012

HI-FAB seals get approved by M/s Thyssenkrupp i.e Uhde India Private Limited for pumps and agitators.

2016

HI-FAB shifted to a new corporate office
